Emplacing porcelain veneers is an impressive technique that can radically change the smile as it can alter the color as well as the size and shape of teeth, even their arrangement.
It is a minimally invasive method of cosmetic dentistry.
A 49 year old male patient came to our clinic to replace his white fillings with more permanent work in order to close the gap between the anterior teeth. We proposed porcelain veneers as a reliable and minimally invasive method of treatment.
- Very minor preparation of the front surface of the teeth, about 0,5 mm, took place.
- Then, very thin layers of porcelain were constructed in the laboratory, which were bonded with special adhesives onto the teeth.
The result satisfied the patient both in terms of colour and change of shape.
